For everyone experiencing perimenopause, menopause and beyond, our mission is to empower you to make well-informed choices, so that these mid-life years can become the best of your life.


How do we deliver?


First, we provide expert independent advice and education on medical, nutritional, exercise and lifestyle interventions to take your health to the next level. We're able to offer this 360° service because of our specialist backgrounds and many years of experience helping individuals in mid-life.


Our advice is not only theoretical, but also highly practical, so you can benefit from ideas that you can get working on straight away.


We also provide a safe, enquiring and nurturing community of women in mid-life who want to share their stories, ask questions of each other and offer mutual support.


We deliver all this through our community groups - you can sign up to our six-week online interactive community courses - and through the training we provide to organisations and their employees.

We deliver menopause training to the NHS.


We believe it's important that women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond are empowered to live life to the full, both at work and at play.

menopause programme 

Our 6 week online community programme is designed for perimenopausal and menopausal individuals of any age, empowering you to manage your menopause.

The programme gives you expert independent advice, interpretation of cutting edge research and practical tips for improving your life.

Our programme is designed to fit into a busy lifestyle and can be accessed both live or you can get the recordings after each session to watch in your own time. 

If you are not able to attend the live sessions you can still benefit from the interaction with us and get personalised expert advice by posting questions to us before or after the live sessions. 

When joining us you automatically become part of our community that gives you an opportunity to connect with others in your situation and access to ongoing expert advice from us through the online platform.

We are here to support you and answer your questions - even after you have completed the programme.


Our next programme is starting Monday 12th September 2022 and will run for 6 weeks.

Our programme has limited places and it is £79 to join.

Many of us move into perimenopause and menopause wanting to lose some weight and so it’s all too easy to enter mid-life with a feeling of mild dread that we’re somehow going to have start eating less.


If this is you, you may be relieved to learn that often it’s about eating MORE, not less, that will improve your health during the menopause transition. It’s about WHAT you eat - not about trying to get by on so few calories that you’re always hungry, always thinking about the next meal.

Food and nutrition are your friends during perimenopause and menopause. They are powerful tools for making our minds and bodies more resilient in our 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. Eating a healthy diet optimises our: mood - cognition - sleep - energy 
- libido- digestion - bowel comfort - hair, skin, nails and gums - muscles, bones and joints - immune system and blood sugar stability. 

We love nothing more than chatting about the fabulous power of food and giving practical tips to make a healthy diet accessible to EVERYONE in mid-life. Much of our 6-week online course focuses on using nutrition to make mid-life some of the healthiest years of our lives - come and join us to share in the learning and discussion.

My Menopause Companion is founded and run by four menopause specialists. 


Dr. Kate McCarthy gynaecologist and menopause specialist. Kate runs a local menopause service in SE London and regularly gives updates to local GPs, GP trainees and junior doctors. She is a member of the British Menopause Society. 

Ellie Brown fitness and wellbeing coach. Ellie is the founder of Greenwich Wellness, Fitness and Pilates: a unique wellness business built on happiness, trust and compassion. She has been inspiring and supporting people to find their own pace in Greenwich and beyond since 2003.

Lorraine Nicolle MSc award-winning registered nutritionist (mBANT) and educator with 18  years clinical experience in helping people age well. 

Zannie Krogh registered nutritionist (mBANT) based in Greenwich. Zannie hosts regular wellbeing and nutrition workshops online and in SE London.
